Beginning in the 2009 season, Yoyodyne will equip all Roos F-2000
race cars with the Starlane Athlon GPS System. In addition to data
logging duties, this innovative product will also operate as a lap
timer, tachometer, and shifting indicator for the Roos fleet of cars.
The system was developed by Starlane, with technology and process
algorithms used in the most advanced military airborne systems. The
product is characterized by its simplicity and practicality. It is
cable-less and self powered, and is installable on virtually any type
of vehicle.
