The Bertil Roos theory that anybody should be able to race affordably led to the development of this program, the Rookie Runoffs. This program is to help drivers get a jump start on their racing careers.
The format for this program is identical to our Race Series weekend format in that there is a Practice Day and a Race Day.
Practice Day consists of four twenty minute sessions allowing the driver to become familiar with the car and track.
Race Day consists of a twenty minute warm-up session, a fifteen minute qualifying session, a twelve lap race and finally an eighteen lap race.
The winners of each group races will receive a free Bertil Roos Race Series weekend for the next season.
In doing this the Bertil Roos Racing School hopes to ease some of the monetary pressure that might keep a driver from starting in racing.
This program is intended for graduates of our Rookie Camp and / or 5 Day Road Racing School. |
